Application Process: Candidates who have passed the Physical Measurement and Physical Test duly fill the application form provided by the District Superintendent of Police with 3 recent attested passport size photographs, attested copies of all educational qualification certificates, character certificate issued by the Head of the last educational institution, attested copy of National Identity Card, The examination fee is to be submitted through treasury challan along with the original copy of the challan along with other necessary documents.

Recruitment process for police

Police Recruitment Process: Candidates who pass the physical test will have to appear in the written test of 40 marks. In this exam, questions are usually asked from SSC equivalent Bengali, English, General Mathematics and General Knowledge. This exam is of 1 hour 30 minutes duration. Candidates who clear the written test will have to retake the psychological and oral test of 20 marks. 45 percent marks in both the exams are required to pass. Candidates who clear police verification and health test will be initially selected for training. After joining the training center, the opportunity for training will be given after verification of physical fitness and other information through a re-selection committee consisting of representatives of Police Headquarters.

Police Training Procedures

Training: Candidates nominated by the selection committee will have to undergo basic training for 6 months as Trainee Recruit Constable (Male/Female) at the designated training centre. During the training period, you will get free clothing, accommodation, medical facilities and a monthly allowance of Tk 750.

Salary and Benefits: On successful completion of basic training, will be appointed as Constable. And those appointed in this position will get salary allowance at the rate of Tk 9 thousand to 21 thousand 800 according to National Pay Scale 2015. At the end of the apprenticeship period, you will get free clothing, medical treatment, ration facilities and risk allowance and other benefits as per rules.
