UP Board Result 2023 : The Uttar Pradesh Board on Tuesday broke a 100-year-old record by declaring Class 10th and 12th results in just 67 days, the government said in a press release. “Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Council (Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad) has announced the results of 10th and 12th board exams, 89.78 percent students have passed the class 10 exam and 75.52 percent students have passed the class 12 exam,” the notification said. .

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated the students for their success and also announced to honor the students who scored in the top 10 in state and district level examinations. It is noteworthy that 253 intermediate students and 179 high school students have made it to the top 10 as per the declared results.

A total of 432 students secured top ten positions in both the exams. Also, the UP board exams started on February 16, a day after the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), but the UP board results were released before CBSE, even though UP board has many times more students than CBSE, the notification said.

Council of Secondary Education Director Mahendra Dev and Secretary Divyakant Shukla, provided information on this achievement while announcing the results of the UP board‘s high school and secondary examinations on Tuesday.

Board director Mahendra Dev said that in high school, Sitapur’s Priyanshi Soni topped the intermediate examination by securing 590 marks out of 600 marks while Shubo Chapra from Mahoba topped the intermediate examination with 489 marks out of 500 marks. Board Secretary Divyakant Shukla said that the Board of Secondary Education has set a record by announcing the results in the shortest time in its 100-year history.

He said, after the formation of the board in 1921, the first board examination was held in 1923. Since then the board declares the result in less time.

Earlier in 2019, the results were declared on April 27 in the shortest period of 89 days while the examination started on February 7.

This time the tests were conducted after February 16 and the results were declared in a total of 67 days, the release stated. Divyakant Shukla also said that as per Chief Minister Yogi’s intention, the board was successful in conducting a cheating-free exam this year.

For the first time in 30 years, no papers were leaked, no exams canceled and no mass cheating. He said, being the largest board in the world, it is a matter of pride that this is the first time in the last 100 years that all the results have been completed.

Some results were incomplete in the past for various reasons. He said that the Grievance Cell will resolve the problems of the students after the declaration of results. At the regional office level, the grievance cell has been established and will start functioning next week.

The problems of the students who have submitted the application will be addressed within the time frame stipulated here. Scrutiny of application forms will start after Monday. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took to Twitter to congratulate the students on their success.

He posted, “Heartiest congratulations to all the students, their parents and teachers who cleared the Uttar Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education Class 10th and 12th exams. You all are the pillars of the golden future of “New Uttar Pradesh”. .

“May you all have a bright future with the blessings of Maa Saraswati. The students securing top 10 ranks in the 10th and 12th board exams will be honored at the state level and the top 10 ranked students will be honored at the district level. The state government will honor the district level,” he added.

According to the notification, the UP Board has also created another history in the evaluation of board exam answer sheets. Chairman of the board Dr. Mahendra Dev said that this time the evaluation of UP board answer sheets started from March 18. For checking the answer sheets, 258 centers were set up in the state, where a total of 3.19 crore books were evaluated. .

For this, 1,43,933 examiners have been recruited. The date for completion of evaluation of answer sheets was fixed on April 1, but the board completed the evaluation a day earlier, i.e. on March 31, 2023. It also added a record, release.
