Application A candidate can apply in General (GD) and Technical Trade (TT) as per required qualification. Besides, candidates who have received training from BNCC members, children of servicemen (SS) and TTTI can apply separately. Trade Name: General Trade (GD) – Male & Female.
Age: Not less than 17 years and not more than 20 years as on 03 March 2024 (Affidavit not acceptable).
Educational Qualification: Passed SSC/Equivalent (Madrasa / Technical Open) examination with minimum GPA-3.00.

Trade Name: Technical Trade (TT) Male & Female.
Age: Not less than 17 years and not more than 21 years as on 03 March 2024 (Affidavit not acceptable).

Education/Technical Qualification: Passed from SSC Vocational with related technical subject with minimum GPA-3.00. Passed SSC/Equivalent (Madrasa/Technical Open) examination with minimum GPA-3.00 and eligible for relevant trade course of minimum 6 months duration as per Table 1 mentioned below from an institution approved by Board of Technical Education. Preference will be given to candidates who have completed Science Department/Diploma Course.

Height Male/Female : 1.68 m (5 ft 6 in) excluding various ethnic groups and communities. 1.63 m (5 ft 4 in) for various ethnic groups and communities. 1.60 meters (5 ft 3 in) for women except for various ethnic groups and communities. 1.56 m (5 ft 1 in) for various ethnic groups and communities.

Weight Male/Female: 49.90 kg (110 lb). 47 kg (104 lb) for women.

Chest Male/Female: Normal 0.76 meters (30 inches), inflated 0.81 meters (32 inches). Normal 0.71 m (28 in), inflated 0.76 m (30 in) for women.

Health Test: Eligible for health test.
Swimming: Knowledge of swimming is essential (minimum 50 meters).
Marital Status: Single (Not Divorce / Divorce).

Join Bangladesh Army 2023

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected through Health Test, Physical Test, Written Test (Bangla, English, Mathematics, General Knowledge and Intelligence) and Interview. Candidates of technical trades have to participate in the practical test of the respective trade.

Training: 36 (thirty-six) weeks of basic military training should be undertaken as per the decision of the HQ.
